You have a purpose on this earth and it does not include being physically, verbally or mentally abused. Domestic violence is ugly and the effects of it can’t be camouflaged by the mask your hiding behind. Women are nurturers by nature and the givers of life. Sometimes, we give too much of ourselves to people who are not worthy (yes this is possible) and the result is detrimental. We make excuses and give second chances to our abusers in the hopes that they will change. Some of us have surrendered to the fear because what we know is not as frightening as the unknown. Please know this – Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things (1 Corinthians 13:4-7)
Whoever violates you is of the enemy so don’t negotiate or compromise what you are destined to become with anyone trying to keep you from fulfilling your purpose. Peace, love and light on your journey to freedom.
