What came first the thought or the word? I remember when my sister and I were little girls, Mom told us we were smart, beautiful, strong, and special young ladies. Not only did she tell us – she showed us in such a way that the roots of her affirmation ran deep. We were prepared to battle the negative opposition when confronted with it. Somewhere along the way we lost a few of the challenges because we had compromised our authenticity for society’s definition of who we were or ought to be.
Today we honor her and those who’ve planted seeds of positivity into their daughters and others.
“What you think-you become. What you focus on – you manifest. What you emotionally embody-you actualize. With every blink, you have the potential of creating new realities… let yourself be the powerful creator you already are.” – Natalie Brite
